Thomas E Rouch’s sonic pallet builds on the use of the recording studio as an instrument, combining advanced digital and analog synthesis techniques, audio sampling and blending them with more traditional orchestrations to create new musical soundscapes. Thomas also enjoys collaborations with a variety of great composers such as Brett Aplin and the late Ricky Edwards on The Bureau of Magical Things and working alongside Cornel Wilczek on a number of high profile Australian productions such as the AACTA Award winning documentary The Australian Dream; ABC TV’s drama series’ Stateless, The Newsreader & Fires and the score to Australia’s first Netflix Original mini-series Clickbait. Thomas’ music can be heard around the globe, licensed to hit factual, drama and reality TV. In 2019 his solo piano release The Pathfinder quickly gained him a growing fanbase leading to further releases on the New York based Post Classical Label Sonder House.
